Weathered Rock Face Owlshead point. .................................................................. My Digital Paintings are constructed utilizing layers of synthesized brush strokes in a variety of styles. At the high resolution utilized the brush strokes only begin to be visible on very large prints. Be sure to zoom in! ........................................................................... This 75 megapixel painting was uploaded on 08.18.2012. Prints of up to 6' x 4' are available from this image. If you wish to see the brush strokes, extremely large prints on canvas or watercolor paper are highly recommended. Actually, on this piece the strokes are about 4-5X larger than those used in my other paintings giving a more impressionistic feel.

My adventure into the digital art world began in early 1984, shortly after purchasing my first computer, a Macintosh 128K. The Macintosh came with a copy of MacPaint, which I immediately began experimenting with. First with illustrations and in 1985, with the addition of a Thunderscan scanner, I began editing my own photos years before the term digital photography would become known. IMO, the computer is the most powerful creative tool yet conceived.
